Finding Your Puppy's Perfect Match: A Sitter Selection Guide

Trusting someone with your puppy's care is no small decision. Beyond checking references and reviews, watch how potential sitters interact with your pup—do they seem genuinely interested in your dog's personality and habits? Ask detailed questions about their experience with puppies, their daily routine during visits, and how they'd handle common issues like potty training accidents or anxious behavior. Once you've found a promising candidate, arrange a trial visit where you can observe their approach firsthand. Discuss emergency protocols, feeding schedules, and any special instructions unique to your puppy. A great sitter becomes your partner in your pup's development. In South Florida's warm climate where dogs spend plenty of time outdoors and indoors, finding someone who understands your pet's lifestyle needs makes all the difference.
